Russian supplier of fine and packaging paper Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill has started up production at its new semicellulose (SC) pulp mill.
First tests were carried out on 5 June and turned out to be satisfactory, writes Arkhangelsk. The paper mill now has doubled its SC pulp capacity to 1,000 t per day. With this investment, Arkhangelsk aims to increase quality and decrease costs in the production of containerboard.
