Attempts to hike LWC prices in Germany fail to materialise for the most part
25 Jan 2012 −
The paper industry says it has recognized that the LWC market in Germany and elsewhere is generally going to shrink. Relating to the current market situation, EUWID respondents said prices are crumbling. Producers deny that prices are heading downward, but confirm that the price hike they intended is now uncertain. Prices were only adjusted for customers who had been paying low prices. Overall, there seemed to be lateral price movement with a few cosmetic corrections.
