Aviretta has rebuild the former UPM SC-paper machine and started recycled containerboard production at the mill in Ettringen last April. Now, the company has expanded its product portfolio to include Wellenstoff.

German recycled corrugated case material producer Aviretta GmbH has expanded its portfolio of recycled corrugated case materials. Following the start-up of Schrenz production in late April, Aviretta began manufacturing recycled fluting (Wellenstoff) at the end of August. Both paper grades are offered in basis weights of 70-100 g/m². The paper is being supplied to customers in Germany and across Europe.

Aviretta operates a single paper machine with a production capacity of 180,000 tpy at the Ettringen site near Augsburg, Germany. The company had acquired the 7 m wide paper machine PM 4 from UPM in the middle of last year and rebuild it to produce recycled corrugated case material.
