Fibria Celulose is eveluating whether to sale its Piracicaba unit. In a notice to the market published on 27 July, the company reported it has received offers for the acquisition of the assets compromising the industrial site and the buildings that constitute the Piracicaba unit. Fibria said it was currently reviewing the offers but did not disclose the potential buyers nor any financial details of the deal.
Piracicaba paper mill has an installed capacity of 160,000 tpy of woodfree paper and is specialising in thermal and carbonless copy paper.
