Manufacturers of brown kraftliner succeeded in getting a first instalment of the announced price hike in France.
Manufacturers of brown kraftliner were apparently more successful in their attempts to raise prices in France than their colleagues in the market for recycled paper. A first instalment has been put through, mostly as of 1 June, but in some cases also as early as in May. Papermarkers underlined their intention to push for a second instalment to get the full hike they announced.
