Amid shrinking demand for woodfree coated papers in Poland, prices have eroded month on month in the second half of the year.

Unrest and uncertainty remained in place on the Polish woodfree coated paper market in recent months. Suppliers had mixed views about how demand had panned out in the second half of the year, but official figures show that the market as a whole is shrinking compared with last year. Converters state that they have been able to secure lower buying prices month after month since at least the middle of the year.
