Hardwood pulp prices mostly stable in December
10 Jan 2012 −
Market reports indicated stable to slightly higher prices for hardwood pulp grades at the end of December. “The absurd announcement of an increase in prices to $730 as of 1 December did not come anywhere close to implementation, but at least it served to arrest the fall in prices", a EUWID respondent observed. In fact, even slight increases were reportedly achieved in some cases. Prices of mixed hardwood pulp also remained stable in December.
