In future Laakirchen Papier will produce both SC paper and recycled containerboard.
Heinzel will invest more than €100m to expand its subsidiary Laakirchen Papier. The investment programme will consist of two parts, Heinzel reports. PM 10 will be switched from SC to lightweight recycled corrugated case material, while production capacity of SC paper machine 11 will be markedly expanded. In future, Laakirchen will be able to produce nearly 800,000 tpy of SC paper and containerboard.
