Kraftliner prices in Germany set to rise sharply

Following the announcements of price increases of €100/t for recycled corrugated case material from 1 February, the first hike for all kraftliner grades on all European markets was announced, which foresees an increase of €80/t as of 1 March. Meanwhile other manufacturers have joined in and announced to their customers that they plan to raise prices for brown kraftliner and white top by €60-80/t as of 1 March. Yet, not all of the major suppliers are participating.
