Prices for unbleached kraftliner declining in Poland
05 Oct 2011 −
The Polish market for unbleached kraftliner was facing destabilizing effects in September. Firstly from demand, which similarly to that for recycled corrugated case material had not picked up sufficiently after the summer, and secondly from the ongoing volume inflows from countries outside of Western and Northern Europe. Converters had increasingly been turning to supplies from Russia and North America in recent months, and Russia had been particularly active on the Polish market, insiders said. Following slight price movements in August, prices for unbleached kraftliner fell again in September.
