Pro-Gest postpones start-up of Mantua mill

Source: Burgo
14 Jul 2016 −

Pro-Gest's Mantua mill in Italy, designed to produce packaging paper in the future, will not start up before the first half of next year.

Pro-Gest has announced that its Italian Mantua packaging paper mill will start operating in the first half of 2017. The company had originally planned to start production by the end of this year.

Pro-Gest acquired the former newsprint mill from Burgo in June 2015 and plans to convert it. The company is currently dismantling the existing machine and will install a new paper machine to produce lightweight recycled containerboard with a net capacity of 500,000 tpy.
