Employees of the Cartonnages Girard mill of French board converter LGR Emballage went out on strike on 15 February. A spokesman for the CGT union reported on 21 February that production has been at a complete standstill since then. The strike is to continue in the next days. LGR Emballage has an annual output of roughly 900 million folding boxes for the pharmaceutical industry at its plant in Le Teil.
