Radece Papir in financial dire straits

06 Dec 2011 −

Slovenian paper producer Radece Papir is experiencing financial difficulties and is having trouble maintaining its normal operations due to a lack of funds. At the end of November, the company has suspended security and banknote production on its 8,000 tpy PM 5 for a period of seven days. PM 5 resumed production in December again and will operate until further notice, the company said last Friday. Production of copy paper on PM 4, which offers a capacity of 30,000 tpy, has been idle since September. Radece Papir is now waiting for money from its creditor banks to solve liquidity problems.
