Spanish paper and packaging group SAICA has acquired the Centroplast Group, producer of flexible packaging.
The Centroplast Group, placed in Italy and Luxemburg, employs 235 people and has a turnover of around €67m in 2015. "This acquisition allows us to enter more strongly in the market of flexible packaging market by the hand of a leading player. We carry out this investment with views to the long-term and potential development of this sector”, as the president of SAICA Ramon Alejandro said. This acquisition was carried out with the financial intermediation of Sabadell Corporate Finance and SCOUTING SPA; and legal advice in the operation has been provided by Pavia e Ansaldo.
