SIG Combibloc increases capacity at Campo Largo mill

SIG Combibloc will invest BRL221m (€64m) in its Campo Largo mill in order to increase carton packaging capacity by 40 per cent.

SIG Combibloc Brazil has signed an agreement with Paraná state governor regarding a BRL221m (€64m) investment to expand production capacity by 40% at its Campo Largo plant, Paraná state, southern Brazil.

The expansion plan includes a new building and equipment to produce packaging, as well as automation of the production lines and a new building especially designed to automatically store printing cylinders, informs the company. The construction works will begin in August and the project will be completed by the end of 2016.
