SKG to produce more corrugated boxes at Brännögård plant

20 Jan 2012 −

Smurfit Kappa Group (SKG) expects to produce more corrugated boxes at its Swedish Brännögård plant. A company spokesperson told EUWID a new converting machine had been installed replacing two older machines which had been moved to the company’s Gävle and Kolding plants. Even if capacities would not significantly change after the installation, production would increase, he said. The new converter is said to have a maximum capacity of 20.000 boxes/hour. SKG operates another six converting machines and one corrugator at the Brännögård plant.
