Grupo Maculart is increasing its capacities for pharmaceutical boxes. The Spanish company has taken over packaging firm Estoig Farmacéutic.
Packaging manufacturer Grupo Maculart, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has acquired Spanish ocmpany Estoig Farmacéutic. The two companies both operate in the field of pharmaceutical packaging with Maculart also producing pharmaceutical leaflets.
Maculart said it wanted to strengthen its presence on this market and benefit from Estoig's contacts to big customers. Thanks to the move, Maculart's production capacities would rise and reach 78 million boxes and 72 million leaflets for the pharmaceutical industry, the company added. Estoig is said to have five employees.
