There is currently strong demand on the market for kraft packaging paper in Germany. However, prices have remained stable.
The market for kraft packaging paper is benefiting from the ongoing discussion about the replacement of plastic in packaging. Producers and converters report steady good market development. The ordering activity at the paper factories has increased further. It was almost impossible to get hold of additional volumes of brown kraft paper, EUWID was told. Average delivery times are said to be between 6 and 8 weeks.
However, this situation has not affected prices. Market participants report that prices are stable compared to the last market report at the beginning of August.
