New tissue machine adds 35,000 tpy of bathroom tissue, napkin and towel grades to STG's existing production capacity.
Russia's Syktyvkar Tissue Group (STG) has started production on a new 35,000 tpy tissue machine at its new production site in Semibratovo, Yaroslavl region. The new TM is 2.85 meter wide and has an operating speed of 2,000 m/min. According to STG, the company's total annual production capacity has now increased to 85,000 t of tissue, making STG "one of the largest vertically integrated tissue paper production companies in Russia and the CIS."
STG's new tissue machine was supplied by Valmet, formerly Metso Pulp and Paper. The order for a complete , including stock preparation equipment, was placed in March 2013. The turnkey deinked deinked pulp line was supplied by Kadant Lamort, a Kadant Inc. company.
