Walsum Papier has again extended its insolvency period.
The district court of Duisburg, where Walsum is headquartered, has postponed the opening of regular insolvency proceedings to 1 March.
All activities at the paper mill, including production of coated magazine paper (LWC), will be continued without interruption, informs Walsum Papier. Machine utilisation is said to be good, there will be no downtime due to lack of orders, it is reported. In the meantime, talks on the sale of the company with potential investors will be continued.
