Prices for woodfree coated paper tend to be edging higher on the UK market. Such mark-ups were patchy and were mostly possible for sheets and from different dates in September or October.
Contacts had told EUWID that coated reel prices cost a bit more too in October, but it had been harder to charge more for these grades than had been the case for sheets. Most insiders did not witness any significant rise in reel prices. However, some price talks were still in progress as mid-October arrived, meaning that their outcome was unclear.
