Hamburger will not build second PM at Spremberg plant

Hamburger-Spremberg has rejected plans to build another paper machine at its site in Spremberg, Germany. The company had considered to build a second PM for white or brown testliner with an annual capacity of 400,000-450,000 t. Hamburger said it revised its expansion plans due to the supply situation on the fibre market, with sales markets playing a less important role.
