Labour dispute in port of Montreal now resolved

The labour dispute that had been hampering regular operation in Montreal port since last week, totally paralysed it at times, has been resolved. Montreal Port Authority (MPA) reported on 23 July that the Maritime Employers Association (MEA) had reached an agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees to end the dockworker lockout and to resume negotiations. Normal operation was able to be resumed on Saturday.
