SCA to buy diaper business of Copamex

SCA plans to acquire the baby diaper business of Mexican paper and tissue maker Copamex in order to strengthen its presence in Latin America and expand its portfolio of hygiene products. The purchase price is quoted at around $50m and the transaction, which is still subject to approval from relevant authorities, is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2010.
