Configuring browsers


1. The following system requirements are necessary trouble-free use of websites:

  • Recommended browser: Internet Explorer 7.0 or later / Mozilla Firefox version 3.6 and later/ Google Chrome version 9 and later.
  • Recommended browser settings: JavaScript and cookies enabled

If your operating system or browser does not comply with the above recommendations, you might be able to use our websites with restricted functions.

3. Configuring browser settings

1. For Internet Explorer version 7.x and later
Select “Extras” from the menu and then the “Security” tab under “Internet Options”.
Under “Internet zone”, please click on the “Custom settings” button then, in the “Scripting” section, select the “Enable” option under “Active Scripting”. Click on the “Refresh” button to refresh the page. JavaScript is now enabled in your browser.
In Internet Explorer, you can enable cookies by moving the slider to “Allow all cookies” under Extras → Internet options → Privacy.


2. For Mozilla Firefox
Select “Options” from the menu under “Tools” and click on the “Content” tab. Then tick the option “Enable JavaScript. JavaScript is now enabled in your browser.
Select the “Privacy” tab in the “Options” menu under “Tools”. Then select the option “Allow cookies”. Click on the “Reload current page” button to refresh the page. Your browser now allows cookies.

3. For Google Chrome
Click on “Customise and control Google Chrome” in the browser menu and select “Options”. Then select the option “Under the hood”.
Here, click on the “Content settings ...” button and then tick “Allow all sites to run JavaScript”. JavaScript is now enabled in your browser.
Click on “Customise and control Google Chrome” in the menu and select “Options”. Then select the option “Under the hood”.
Here, click on the “Content settings ...” button and then tick “Allow local data to be set”. Click on the “Reload this page” button to refresh the page. Your browser now allows cookies.

4. For your security
