The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control of Novolex and Pactiv Evergreen by Apollo Capital Management and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments). Other regulatory approvals pending, the deal is expected to close by mid-2025.
