German label and specialty paper manufacturer Feldmuehle has implemented "all necessary steps to maintain business operations during the preliminary proceedings" and the regular insolvency procedings under self-administration started on 1 August.

Label and specialty paper company Feldmuehle has officially entered insolvency proceedings under self-administration, following a successful preliminary phase. The company’s management will continue to oversee day-to-day operations and remains responsible for the financial management, with court-appointed administrator Andreas Romey providing legal supervision, Feldmuehle announced.

Despite the financial restructuring, Feldmuehle has reportedly maintained stable business operations. Management reports strong cooperation with key partners, including energy providers, insurers, raw material suppliers, and service contractors. Just-in-time deliveries remain unaffected, allowing the company to fulfill customer orders reliably and with consistent quality, the company said.

The company also emphasized that customer trust remains strong, noting recent encouraging feedback and a positive order trend.

Alongside operational continuity, Feldmuehle is focusing on structural realignment of the company and cost reductions to ensure long-term competitiveness.

Maintenance on technical equipment and infrastructure is currently underway, with production scheduled to resume by the end of next week, Feldmuehle announced.
