The insolvency administrator of Inapa IPG will soon propose to the company's creditors' meeting the acceptance of a purchase offer for Inapa's packaging businesses in France, trading as Inapa Packaging SAS, which it has received from Next Pack SAS.

The company states that the insolvency administrator has received a total of four purchase offers for different parts of the Inapa Group, focussing on Portugal and France.

The offer from Next Pack SAS for Inapa Packaging SAS is €20m. Inapa Packaging SAS is held by Inapa IGP subsidiary Europackaging Investimentos, Participações e Gestão, Lda, which also includes its subsidiaries SEMAQ - Societé D`Emballage et de Manutention D`Aquitaine and Embaltec SAS.

At least two proposals for the acquisition of Inapa France SAS and Inapa Packaging Lda. have been submitted, as well as expressions of interest in the possible acquisition of Inapa Portugal, Distribuição de Papel, S.A., which are not yet binding.

No offer has yet been made for all of Inapa IPG's assets, nor for Inapa subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Belgium and Turkey. Various investors have also expressed an interest in continuing the business of Inapa Shared Centre, Lda.

In his report, the insolvency administrator explains that a competitive process with potential investors for Inapa IPG and its assets has been initiated due to the risk of a rapid deterioration of the business situation.
