International Paper has launched a broader restructuring initiative in the UK involving the closure of five former DS Smith packaging sites. The proposal includes one box plant in Clay Cross and four sheet plants located in Plymouth, Newcastle, Sheerness and Wellingborough, a company spokesperson told EUWID.
