
French paper manufacturer manufacturer Papeterie Le Bourray is investing €25m to build new tissue machine.
Tissue and cellulose wadding manufacturer Papeterie Le Bourray will add a new tissue machine at its paper mill in Saint-Mars-la-Brière, France at a cost of €25m. Installation work is set to begin in the coming weeks and the new TM should become operational by the fourth quarter of 2026 at the latest, the company said.
Le Bourray, part of the Stepak Bourdin group, employs around 120 people and, according to its own figures, produces 29,000 tpy of coloured tissue as well as specialty cellulose wadding for filtration, medical and hygiene applications
The aim of the investment is to diversify the product range and strengthen the company's position in the French tissue paper market. The investment in a new tissue machine accompanies Stepak Bourdin group's growth in the segment of disposable tableware products.
