Mercer Stendal is planning to build a new ash crystallisation plant at its pulp mill in Arneburg, Germany. The contract has been awarded to Finnish plant engineering company Valmet. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027. The companies did not disclose the value of the investment.
