According to President Illkka Hämälä, the Finnish Metsä Group is looking back on an “exceptionally weak financial year 2024”. Sales revenues fell from €6.1bn to €5.7bn and operating profit from €845m to €654m. Net profit was €109m, compared to €384m in the previous year.
