Spanish Saica group has commissioned a new biomass boiler at its French corrugated case material mill in Nogent-sur-Seine. According to the company, the boiler replaces existing gas boilers and is expected to significantly reduce the site’s CO₂ emissions. The investment is valued at €86m.
