Pulp manufacturer SCA plans to further increase the price for northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp in Europe.
The Swedish company has announced a $100/t increase for NBSK pulp "effective for March deliveries and invoicing."
As a result, the [list] price for March deliveries of NBSK pulp in Europe will be $1,710/t, according to SCA.
SCA runs one NBSK pulp mill in Östrand, Sweden. The company puts the annual production capacity of the mill at 900,000 tpy.
