Solid board and solid board packaging manufacturer Solidus Solutions has announced the appointment of Niels Flierman as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Furthermore, Dermot Smurfit, a seasoned industry leader, has been named Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Mr Flierman brings extensive experience in managing large-scale operations, driving transformation, and implementing operational improvements, having worked with DS Smith and SCA, among others. His expertise in lean manufacturing and sustainability initiatives will play a key role in leading Solidus Solutions through its recently announced strategic and operational review, according to the company.
As Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr Smurfit brings over 40 years of experience in the paper and packaging sector.
