The Weedon Group, a leading independent corrugated packaging manufacturer in the UK, has announced the appointment of Colin Cutts as new Group Managing Director.
This leadership transition follows the Weedon Group’s integration into the Zeus Packaging Group in April 2024, under the long-standing guidance of John and Peter Weedon, who retired in March 2025.
Mr Cutts brings more than 30 years of experience in the packaging industry, having held senior roles across Sales and General Management at Tri-Wall, HSG Packaging and Mondi. His deep expertise in packaging, point-of-sale (POS), and display solutions positions him well to lead the Weedon Group into its next phase of growth, the company stated.
The Weedon Group has annual sales revenues in excess of £30m (€35m) and over 250 staff across two UK locations in Audenshaw, Tameside and Hednesford, Staffordshire.
