Celulosa Arauco y Costitución resumed operations at its 550,000 tpy Valdivia pulp mill in Chile. The company had to suspend production on 6 March due to a severe drought affecting the flow of Rio Cruces which is feeding Valdivia mill. Production loss attributed to the eleven-day downtime is put at 15,000 t.
