Special Situation Srl is looking for investors to restart production at the Roccavione board mill in Italy.

Production of recycled board at PKarton's Roccavione mill in Italy is still down and it cannot be said for sure when it would be restarted again. According to Roberto Chiodelli, the owner of the investment and turnaround company Special Situation Srl that acquired the mill from IKF Holding last July, the company has applied for the debt restructuring proposal agreement concordato preventivo at the Court of Milan on 14 September. It has now time until mid-November to draw a restructuring plan and find potential investors, Chiodelli said.

Board production at PKarton's Roccavione mill has been standing idle since 20 June this year. The mill houses two board machines with an installed capacity of 120,000 tpy of recycled board, of which 20-30,000 t of greyboard and some 80-90,000 t of GD board.
