Burgo in talks about potential conversion of Duino mill to containerboard

New recycled corrugated case material capacities could come online in Italy, if Burgo's talks with a potential investor for the Duino mill end up being succesful. Another company has vaguely expressed interest in a takeover, too.

Italian paper manufacturer Burgo is apparently examining a potential sale of its Duino LWC mill. A trade union spokesperson told EUWID that the company was in extended talks with a potential investor. If the takeover materialised, the site's LWC machine would be converted to produce corrugated case material.

The two companies involved did not want to comment on the matter.
