Italian company Burgo has announced a price increase for fine paper.
The company said it would raise prices for woodfree coated and uncoated paper in sheets and reels by up to 7 per cent. The hike is to be effective from 1 April.
The company emphasised the need of such a step, pointing to the current cost pressure. There is "continuous pressure coming from pulp, energy and logistics costs", it explained.
