The market conditions on the French market for cartonboard were barely changed in March compared with February. There was no improvement in demand and the situation remained generally tense albeit relatively stable. There was downward price pressure, but sellers did not always give into it. Several prices still remained unchanged. However, it is indisputable that some prices for new orders crumbled also in March. This was true for both fresh fibre and recycled board....
