Business in the recycled corrugated case material segment in Germany seems to be weaker than in early summer. The corrugated industry’s customers have been conservative in their ordering following the summer holiday. Strong upturn in demand is not expected in the short term given the economic uncertainty. It appears fairly likely that prices for recycled containerboard will be reduced further in September.
