Copacel warns of growing problems in the French paper industry

France’s paper and board industry proved to be relatively stable in 2025 in what remained a challenging economic climate. Mills in the country produced 6.5 million t of paper and board last year, a marginal decline of 0.1 per cent compared with 2024.
