In Germany, manufacturers of recycled graphic paper are suffering from low demand coupled with an explosion in recovered paper costs. The suppliers are therefore mulling over price hikes.
While the demand sitiuation on the German market for recycled LWC paper remains difficult, there is a glimpse of hope for manufactures of recycled office papers. Consumers opting for green products and German elections are expected to have a positive impact on demand this year. In Germany, five state elections and a national parliamentary election will be held until the end of September 2021. This would create special demand, it is said.
