Glatfelter is going to invest €7.2m in its French specialty paper mill in Scaër in 2011. The company plans to install a new headbox and rebuild certain other parts of an existing paper machine in order to increase its production capacity. Glatfelter Scaër SAS runs two paper machines producing a total of 5,000 tpy of specialty papers for the food and beverage markets as well as diverse technical specialties for medical and industry applications.
