The Heinzel Group in Austria will add a new MG paper machine at its Pöls facility. Andritz will deliver the 100,000 tpy machine.
The order for the delivery of the new MG paper machine at Heinzel Group's Pöls facility in Graz, Austria has been awarded to Andritz. The machine engineering company reported that the PM is scheduled to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2019.
According to Andritz, the new PM has a capacity of 100,000 tpy of machine glazed kraft paper for flexible packaging and release applications. It can run at speeds of up to 1,400 m/min and will reportedly be able to produce paper in grammages between 20 and 60 g. The Heinzel Group will invest around €135m in the new machine, a company spokesperson told EUWID.
The Heinzel Group had announced its intention to install a new paper machine at the Pöls mill in July 2017.
