Kemira stops deliveries to Russia and Belarus

The decision is blamed the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and will affect customers of Kemira Pulp and Paper in particular.

Finnish chemicals company Kemira has decided to discontinue deliveries to Russia and Belarus starting 1 March 2022 until further notice. The company blames its decision on "the ongoing situation in the region."

"The decision to discontinue deliveries will primarily impact pulp and paper customers in Russia," Kemira explained. In 2021, Russia reportedly represented around 3 per cent of Kemira’s total sales.
