Kraftliner prices continue to fall on German market in November

|

The price decline of unbleached kraftliner witnessed on the German market in October continued in November.

Beside reductions to contract prices, spot volumes were also sold on the market at substantially reduced prices, sources told EUWID.

As of calendar week 47, the development in December was still not clear. However, market players in the corrugated segment do not expect any significant short-term spurt in business ahead of Christmas which could drive demand. As such, the switch from a seller's to a buyer’s market is expected to continue in December.

Reports indicate that white-top kraftliner prices may change only in December, suggesting that November prices are still stable.
