Gilles Van Nieuwenhuyzen will become CEO of Lecta Group with effect from 1 March 2022. He will also be appointed as Director of Lecta Ltd succeeding Eduardo Querol who will become Vice Chairman of the Group and Special Advisor to the Chairman.
According to Lecta, Gilles Van Nieuwenhuyzen has "a vast and diversified experience in different industries" such as chemicals, packaging, food ingredients, and paper and board. He served until 2020 as Executive Vice President and Head of the Packaging Solutions Division at Stora Enso, responsible for containerboards and corrugated and consumer packaging.
