German paper producer Leipa Georg Leinfelder announced that it would install another recycled containerboard PM which is to be commissioned as early as next year.
The company said that it had not yet decided on whether the additional PM would be a new or a rebuild machine. From 2016 on, the machine, which will have an output capacity of about 290,000 tpy, is to produce brown and white recycled linerboard as well as recycled fluting 80 to 140 gsm at the company's Schwedt mill in eastern Germany.
At present, Leipa is producing about 900,000 tpy of graphic paper and containerboard its Schwedt and Schrobenhausen plants.
